TL;DR
- PropTech Connect publishes two grids for its London programme: nine stages (grouped by asset class or format) and six themes (grouped by business question), with the published sessions sitting where they intersect.
- The organiser states on its own agenda page that the full session-by-session agenda "will be released in just a few weeks"; as of 4 September only a handful of highlight sessions carry a slot.
- The themes read as a checklist for a technology buyer: macro, AI and data, scaling pilots, ESG and retrofit, repositioning, and new sectors, which fits a speaker list weighted towards owners and investors.
Most conference agendas are lists. PropTech Connect Europe 2026 publishes two overlapping grids instead: nine stages and six themes. The preview covers the logistics; this piece is about how the content is organised.
The nine stages
The organiser lists the stages in this order: Arora Stage, Peninsula Stage, Commercial Stage, Residential Stage, Sustainability Stage, Industrial Stage, Development Stage, Case Study Stage and Innovation Stage. Its own headline for the programme is "400+ Speakers. 9 stages. 100+ hours of actionable insights."
Read as a set, the stages fall into three groups:
- two headline stages, Arora and Peninsula, where the published highlight sessions with named slots sit
- five sector stages, Commercial, Residential, Sustainability, Industrial and Development, which map the built environment by asset class and phase
- two format stages, Case Study and Innovation, where the label describes the type of session rather than the sector
So the stage grid answers a simple question: which room matches what I own or build.
The six themes
The themes cut the other way. The organiser publishes them verbatim as:
- "Adapting to The Macro Megatrends Reshaping the Rules of Real Estate"
- "Making AI, Data & Technology Drive Real-World Performance"
- "Adoption at Scale: Turning PropTech Pilots into Quantifiable Business Performance"
- "Using ESG & Retrofit to Improve Income, Efficiency and Valuations"
- "Repositioning Assets for a New Era of Living, Working & Experience"
- "Expanding into High-Growth Sectors: Where to Play and How to Win"
None of these is an asset class. Each is a question an investment committee would recognise. It reads as a buyer's agenda rather than a vendor's, matching a speaker roster led by owners, investors and public bodies. Who is in the room goes through that roster.
How the published sessions fit the grid
Only a few sessions are public with a day, time and stage as of 4 September. Mapped onto the grids:
- "Build or Buy: How to Engage Technology?", 9 September, 10:00, Arora Stage, sits squarely under the adoption-at-scale theme
- "Build-to-Rent Trends for 2026 and Beyond", 9 September, 13:15, Residential Stage, belongs to the repositioning and living theme
- "From Data to Decisions: Powering the Modern Real Estate Firm", 9 September, 14:05, Arora Stage, is the AI and data theme in session form
- a 10 September, 10:00 session on the Peninsula Stage on real estate strategy, with Alex Pease, Rebecca Phillips, Tasos Vezyridis, Robin Brown and Miles Skinner listed as speakers, reads as the macro theme
The organiser also lists a keynote by Simon Century, CEO, National Housing Bank, and states that all ticket holders can attend every keynote, panel, presentation and case study on stage. Two of the six themes, ESG and retrofit and high-growth sectors, have no published session attached yet. That reflects what has been released so far, not a missing theme.
What is still to come
The agenda page says it plainly: "The full event agenda, with a detailed breakdown of the keynotes, panel discussions, and speakers will be released in just a few weeks." Until it lands, the two grids are the most reliable guide: pick a stage by portfolio and a theme by problem. Whether pilots turn into performance, the organiser's third theme, is the question from pilots to performance takes further.
