Global franchise

What is Dialogue of Skyscrapers?

Dialogue of Skyscrapers is RealTimes' global franchise format. Each edition pairs the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, the benchmark of vertical ambition, with the tallest tower in the host city. Six host cities. Seven buildings in the conversation. One question: what do the world's tallest structures tell us about the markets that build them?

Every iconic tower is a story about capital flows, urban identity, regulatory courage, and the architectural risk a city was willing to take at a specific moment. Dialogue puts the developers, financiers, architects, and operators behind those decisions in the same room, and asks them what comes next.

Editions span Warsaw (Varso Tower, 310m), London (The Shard, 310m), Singapore (Guoco Tower, 290m), New York (One World Trade Center, 541m), Shanghai (Shanghai Tower, 632m), and Kuala Lumpur (Merdeka 118, 679m). All paired against Burj Khalifa (828m).

RealTimes events are invitation-only rooms for senior commercial real estate. If your company shapes how capital moves across European, Middle Eastern, or global CRE markets, there is a conversation here you should be part of.

Beyond standard sponsorship, we co-organize editions with strategic partners around specific topics, geographies, or asset classes. If you have a question worth bringing 60 to 100 senior practitioners into a room to answer, propose it. We will build the room.

Sponsor categories are designed per edition, around the audience, the venue, and the conversation that edition is meant to surface. Reach out to our Event Production Team to scope a fit for the 2026 series or a co-organized edition: hello@RealTimes.co

Frequently asked

Questions about RealTimes events

What CRE events does RealTimes organize in 2026?
RealTimes organizes four events in 2026: Yes, We Cannes!, Warsaw, April 9 (#YWC26); Mid-Summer Night, Warsaw, July 16 (#MSN26); Back to Business: Vision to Value, London, September 8 (#B2BV2V26); and Expo Real Aftertaste, Warsaw, October (#ERA26). Each event is curated for senior commercial real estate professionals across European and global markets.
Who attends RealTimes events?
Senior CRE: principals, capital allocators, fund managers, developers, advisors, architects. #YWC26 Warsaw welcomed 96 attendees from 40+ companies, including bankers from Pekao, ING, mBank, UniCredit, developers from Skanska and Hillwood, advisors from Cushman & Wakefield and CMS, and investors from PFR TFI and Genesis Property.
What does the programme look like?
At least 40% of programme time is reserved for networking, before, during, and after stage blocks. The programme serves the room, not the clock. Sponsors don't buy speaking slots, they buy presence in the rooms where decisions get made.
What is the Dialogue of Skyscrapers series?
Dialogue of Skyscrapers is RealTimes' global franchise format. Each edition pairs the Burj Khalifa with the tallest tower in the host city, exploring what the world's most ambitious buildings reveal about cities, investment, and architecture. Edition 1 featured Warsaw's Varso Tower. Edition 2 will feature London's The Shard in September 2026. The series continues across Singapore, New York, Shanghai, and Kuala Lumpur.
How can my company partner with RealTimes events?
Three tiers (Strategic / Knowledge / Supporting) plus co-organized editions around specific topics, geographies, or asset classes. If you have a question worth bringing 60 to 100 senior practitioners into a room to answer, we'll build the room. Email Dominika@RealTimes.co to scope.
Can my company host or co-organize an edition?
Yes. Beyond standard sponsorship, RealTimes co-organizes editions with strategic partners around a specific topic (e.g., distressed assets, AI in CRE), geography (a city we haven't yet entered), or asset class (logistics, BTR, hospitality). Propose your room and we'll build it. Email Dominika@RealTimes.co.
Are events open to media coverage?
Selective. Media partnerships are arranged in advance. Some sessions are Chatham House Rule, others are on the record. Editorial coverage is coordinated with RealTimes Editorial, not the venue press desk.
How do I get invited or join the waitlist?
RealTimes events are invitation-only for senior CRE practitioners. Subscribe via RealTimes.co for the next calendar, or request access for a specific edition by emailing Dominika@RealTimes.co with your role and company.
What's the speaker selection process?
Speakers are practitioners who have shipped in the room they're discussing: developers behind the named towers, financiers behind the named deals, investors behind the named funds. We don't book speakers for stage time alone. If you'd like to speak or recommend a speaker, email Dominika@RealTimes.co.
