RealTimes & IPS: Why We Are Covering Dubai

RealTimes is an official media partner of IPS Congress for three editions, and this edition brings a European lens to the Gulf's fastest capital market.

TL;DR

  • RealTimes is an official media partner of IPS Congress under a three-year agreement covering the 2026, 2027 and 2028 editions, fully executed by both sides in June 2026.
  • IPS 2026 runs 7-9 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre (Halls 4-8), now in its 22nd edition, aligned with the vision of the Dubai Land Department.
  • This edition applies the European lens of RealTimes to the Gulf, written two ways at once: for European operators watching Gulf capital, and for Gulf players eyeing Europe.

RealTimes is a commercial real estate media platform built for Europe. A Dubai Edition therefore needs a word of explanation, and that word is capital. Gulf money and European property meet more often now than at any point before, and IPS is one of the places where that meeting happens.

A partnership across three editions

RealTimes is an official media partner of IPS Congress. The agreement runs for three years and covers the 2026, 2027 and 2028 editions. It was fully executed by both sides in June 2026, arranged with the show's organiser (Strategic Infinity, also known as Strategic Exhibitions & Conferences). IPS publicly welcomed RealTimes as an official media partner in July 2026.

The Dubai Edition is a European read on the Gulf's fastest capital market, written both ways at once.

For our newsroom this is a standing commitment rather than a one-off appearance. Three editions mean we cover Dubai on a cycle, follow the same threads year after year, and build market memory instead of describing a single event.

Why Dubai, why us

RealTimes covers European commercial real estate and runs its own executive events, and it aims to be the operating system for European commercial real estate professionals. Dubai fits that remit naturally, because Gulf capital is now one of the strongest forces shaping European deals, while Dubai itself draws European operators, advisers and investors.

We cover Dubai because the Europe & Gulf capital corridor now runs both ways.

The interesting part is that the traffic runs both ways. That is why every piece in this edition is written two ways at once:

  • for European operators who want to understand where Gulf capital is going,
  • for Gulf players weighing Europe as a destination for investment.

What IPS 2026 is

IPS 2026 runs 7-9 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre (Halls 4-8), from 10:00 to 18:00. It is the 22nd edition of the show, aligned with the vision of the Dubai Land Department, the government entity responsible for regulating and registering real property in the emirate, whose mandate explicitly includes promoting Dubai's market through international conferences and exhibitions.

Beyond property sales, this year's edition puts several themes at the centre of its agenda:

  • future cities,
  • digital transformation,
  • institutional investment,
  • Emirati talent development.

The scale figures deserve careful reading, keeping the projection separate from the audited baseline:

  • IPS's own promotional projection cites more than 40,000 visitors, 182 nationalities and 153 countries,
  • the audited 2025 baseline was about 30,720 visitors, 174 countries and over 300 exhibitors.

Our promise

This is an editorial note, not an advertisement. We write neutrally and we check the facts: every figure carries a source, a projection is labelled as a projection, and titles and roles are verified as we go. The partnership with IPS gives us access to the event and the people in it, and it is intelligence-led. What that access means for the market stays entirely the newsroom's call.
